March Drill Weekend
 17 & 18  March 2018
0700 – 1630

Attention to Orders!!!

March Drill will be held at Luke Air Force Base.
Punctuality is imperative for all those attending. 

  • 0700 – Muster at South Gate Visitors Center.
  • 0730 – Coordinate transport, logistics, and issue Parking Passes
  • 0900 – Gates Open to the Public
  • 1530 – Blue Angels Demonstration
  • 1630 – Secure for the Day

 


  • Admission: Free.
  • Parking: $10 (cash only)
  • Chow and Refreshments: Water and snacks will be provided during the day, however it is recommended that Cadets bring $10 for concessions, each day.

All hands to be present. Contact your LPO if you are not able to make it.
Grooming standards will be enforced and there will be random ID checks.  
Remember to read the POD.  You are responsible for the information contained within.
Also remember to bring a notebook and pen/pencil as part of your uniform. 

Cadets must have their NSCC ID’s at the event!

Access to the base through the main gate located on McDowell and Bushmaster Rd.

  • All staff and cadets must have their Naval Sea Cadet ID Card.
  • All family and spectators must have a valid picture ID to enter the facility.

 

ALL HANDS PARTICIPATING MUST BE AT MORNING MUSTER ON SUNDAY 18 FEB NLT 0745 IN DRESS UNIFORM

ALL CADETS MUST BRING PT GEAR ON SUNDAY TO CHANGE INTO FOR AFTERNOON / EVENING ACTIVITIES

A fun evening event is scheduled for Sunday evening until 2000. All hands are invited to stay, but not required to attend. The awards will be announced that evening.

These events will be completed for points towards the overall score.

Navy Week Event

Cadets and Parents are invited for a meet and greet with member of the Crew of the USS Constitution as well as the U.S. Navy Honor Guard at the Hensley Company. Be sure to let your Petty Officers or Division Officers know if you will be attending and how many. The sailors will be in Phoenix for Navy Week that goes from 21st to 27th of March downtown and around the valley. Throughout the Navy Week in Phoenix, there will be a diverse schedule of events with Sailors from Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Group One, USS Oscar Austin (DDG 79), USS Constitution, Navy Band Southwest and Navy Recruiting District Phoenix. Phoenix is the first city of 15 cities that will be visited by the Navy to share what sailors are doing in support of their country. If you have the time to go downtown or attend other events, you’re highly encouraged to attend.
